Town businesses recognized in contest for prettiest storefront

Two Battleford businesses tied in the town’s 2021 Storefront Beautiful Business Contest.

Council picked two winners; Remedy’s RX Pharmacy and Emma Joe’s New to You Clothing Co.

Each will collect $100, as announced at this week’s council meeting.

“They were equally the most beautiful,” town community planner Paige Hundt said.

The town received four entries for the contest, which closed on July 30. A total of $200 was up for grabs – $100 contributed by the town, and another $100 as a matching donation from Mayor Ames Leslie.
