LloydMall shutdown until further notice from flooding

Shoppers in the Border City today are still unable to stroll through Lloydminster’s Mall.
Due to ankle-high flooding found Monday morning, LloydMall is closed from the public until further notice. In a statement on their website, marketing coordinator Shannon McEwan said they suspect a burst waterline occurred overnight, causing damage to several areas of the mall.
The issue is still being investigated and McEwan said there are two restoration companies onsite with more than 20 crew members working to diminish the damage. Updates will be provided when new information becomes available.
