Two of accused in Moosomin homicide investigation have case adjourned

Aug 9, 2021 | 1:54 PM

Two of the accused individuals facing charges related to the death of Damian Moosomin last year had their case adjourned in North Battleford provincial court Monday.

Denver Roy is facing charges of accessory after the fact to murder and improperly interfere with human remains.

The court heard that the Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford, which is completing an assessment on Roy, needs more time for its report.

As a result, Roy’s case was adjourned until Aug. 16 at 11 a.m.

Another accused, Tye Partridge, facing a charge of first-degree murder, also had his case adjourned. He is scheduled to return to North Battleford court Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. to enter a plea.

Damian Moosomin, 20, was found deceased in the backyard of a property in the 1500 block of 105 Street in North Battleford on May 16, 2020. He was originally reported missing to police on May 11 of that year.

The allegations against the accused individuals have not been proven in court.
