Vehicle involved in collision with deer near Cochin

Emergency crews were on the scene Monday morning at Highway 4 just north of Cochin where a vehicle and a deer collided on the road earlier.

Battlefords RCMP Sgt. Neil Tremblay confirmed the incident was reported at about 8:30 a.m., around 12 miles south of Glasyln.

An ambulance was dispatched to the location. It has not been confirmed if there were any injuries at this point.

Police controled traffic in the area while emergency crews responded.
