Tot Lot sees plenty of support from community groups

The Town of Battleford enjoyed some added support from the community recently.

The town received a donation of $1,000 from the Battleford Lions Club, and a gift for $600 from the Battleford Quilters group to support the Tot Lot.

Town parks and recreation manager Jordan Schechtel says both the Battleford Lions and the Battleford Quilters have donated to the Tot Lot for quite a few years now, and the town appreciates the effort.

“They are long-term donors and supporters of the Tot Lot,” he said. “Their funding definitely helps us with operating the facility.”
