Female passenger injured in rollover, RCMP looking for driver

Big River RCMP are seeking public assistance as they investigate a single vehicle rollover that occurred on Big River First Nation on May 15, which sent a female passenger in the hospital.

Officers responded to the collision around 10:00 p.m. that evening, finding a vehicle off-road that had rolled over into the tree line. An injured adult female was located nearby and transported by air ambulance to hospital with serious injuries. Her condition is currently unknown.

Following the initial investigation, police believe that the woman was a passenger in the vehicle and that a male driver fled the scene with the assistance of another individual operating an ATV. Officers are looking to speak with this individual.

Anyone with information regarding this incident can call the Big River RCMP Detachment or Crime Stoppers.
