One of the five accused individuals facing a charge connected to the death of Damian Moosomin last year had her case adjourned in North Battleford provincial court Monday.

Melissa Semaganis is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Her attendance was waived during court. The court heard the case has been adjourned while awaiting disclosure.

The case will return to court May 19 to be spoken to.

Semaganis must abide by a no-contact order.

Four others are also facing charges.

Denver Roy is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and improperly interfering with human remains.

Tye Partridge is charged with first degree murder.

Jannay Blackbird is charged with second degree murder.

Stormy Wapass-Semaganis is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Roy, Partridge, Blackbird, and Wapass-Semaganis are scheduled back in court May 6.

Police previously reported, Damian Moosomin, 20, was found deceased in the backyard of a property in the 1500 block of 105 Street in North Battleford on May 16, 2020. He was originally reported missing to police May 11 of that year.

The allegations against the accused individuals have not been proven in court.
