More immunization times at Battlefords, Lloydminster drive-thru clinics

The drive-thru immunization clinic in Lloydminster and the Battlefords will remain open to the public through to Friday evening.

Located at the Exhibition Grounds at 5521 49 Avenue, the clinic for the Border City closes at 7:30 p.m. this evening but will run 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. tomorrow. The Battlefords drive-thru clinic at 391 Yellowhead Highway is also open, closing at 8:00 p.m. this evening and running 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

The age limit is at 40 years and older starting at 8 a.m. Friday, however, front-line workers can now also receive their vaccinations on a first come first served basis at drive-thru clinics. The SHA is reminding residents that anyone who attends drive-thru clinics that they may close early if supply runs out and that any attendees who had scheduled appointments previously should cancel them.

Additional details on drive-thru and walk-in clinics are available online. As of April 29, almost 422,000 vaccines have been administered in Saskatchewan. The active caseload for COVID-19 is 2,408, with 149 in the Northwest. There are 186 individuals currently hospitalized and the province’s fatality rate for the nearly 41,000 positive cases is at 1.2 per cent.
