24-year-old woman wanted for weapons charges

Battlefords RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a 24 year-old woman wanted for multiple weapons offences.
Cassandra Fox of Sweetgrass First Nation is currently wanted for 30 outstanding charges, which include possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, assault with a weapon, possession of a firearm in a vehicle and possession of stolen property, as well as other criminal code charges.
These stem from multiple investigations, including a report of an altercation at a business on Highway 16 in North Battleford on April 30. The Battlefords Detachment and Municipal GIS section determined that occupants of a vehicle at that location had been sprayed by bear spray by two females.
In another incident on Dec. 6, members of the Saskatchewan Crime Reduction Team, Battlefords Gang Task Force and the Battlefords Detachment engaged in a pursuit with an SUV, which was believed to be driven by a male wanted for multiple violent offences. Fox was taken into custody with that male at the end of the pursuit, where a loaded firearm was found in the vehicle.
