More fire bans

Fire bans in effect for Buffalo and Reford RMs

Residents in the Rural Municipality of Buffalo No. 409 and the Rural Municipality of Reford No. 379, both located near Wilkie, will need to be aware of a fire ban currently in place for the area.

People are not permitted to use a fire pit, a burn barrel or to conduct controlled burns while the ban is on. Any previously issued burn permits are no longer valid.

Administrator Sherry Huber said no burning of any kind is allowed at this time due to the extremely dry conditions in the area.
