Camp Connected for Sask. residents with disabilities

SaskAbilities and Camp Easter Seal have announced Camp Connected, an online, virtual program for 2021 open to all Saskatchewan residents experiencing disability.

According to a media release, during the months of June, July and August they will bring the best of camp to those with disabilities via virtual activities, challenges, campfires, videos and much more.

Interactive and engaging programming will run from June 14 – Aug. 19. Campers can expect opportunities to connect in meaningful ways with others to enhance their independence and to grow relationships that last a lifetime. Registration opened April 7.

Looking forward to staying connected with everyone, SaskAbilities and Camp Easter Seal recognize they can not do what they do without the generous support received. The publics generous support helps deliver the program and keep Camp Easter Seal maintained for their return in 2022.

Easter Seals Saskatchewan launched their 2021 Paper Egg Campaign this month. It supports individuals experiencing disability in Saskatchewan which started April 1 and runs until the end of the month.

The annual fundraiser is initiated by Easter Seals Canada, where Canadians are invited to donate to their local Easter Seals Charity while at the cashier / checkout register.

SaskAbilities is the proud operator of Easter Seals Saskatchewan serving over 60,000 clients each year. Donations collected through the Paper Egg Campaign in Saskatchewan will remain in the province and goes toward funding programs and services that aim to improve the quality of life of children, youth and adults who are experiencing disability. This includes Camp Easter Seal, Summer Fun and Adaptive Technology Services.
