Police vehicle struck by stolen vehicle

Battlefords RCMP are on the lookout for a stolen BMW that struck a police vehicle.
The RCMP member driving was on patrol when they came across a suspected stolen vehicle and attempted to pull it over. The car turned down a dead end gravel road, picked up speed and came back towards the police vehicle, which wasn’t able to pull aside quickly enough. The stolen vehicle then took off in an unknown direction.
There was significant damage to the police vehicle but it was still operable and the officer was not injured. The stolen car is a grey 2013 BMW X3, with a Saskatchewan licence plate number of 058-MBM.
Battlefords RCMP are asking the public for help in locating the stolen vehicle. Anyone who should encounter the BMW are encouraged to call the detachment.
