Health authority expands vaccine eligibility

Mar 30, 2021 | 12:11 PM

The Saskatchewan Healthy Authority (SHA) has once again expanded their vaccine eligibility across the province.

Starting March 31 at 8 a.m., all Saskatchewan residents 60 and over and phase one health care workers can book their COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

Also eligible are people with underlying health conditions that make them extremely vulnerable to the virus.

“The majority of these individuals have already been identified by their health care team, and will receive a letter of eligibility in the mail. This letter is required in order to book an appointment,” as stated in the SHA media release.

Residents in the Northern Administrative District 50 and over are still eligible to book their appointments as well. A map of this area can be found here.

Bookings can be made through www.saskatchewan.ca/covid19-vaccine; or call 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Booking online is not available at this time to Northern residents but they can make their appointments by calling 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.
