Homicide victim’s remains identified

RCMP have identified the human remains found after a structure fire, which has sparked a recent homicide investigation in North Battleford.

Jordon Daniel Boire of Saskatoon is the victim identified by Battlefords RCMP, Major Crimes Unit-North (MCU-N) and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service. He was last seen in Saskatoon on January 19, before being reported missing to police the next day. Boire’s family have been notified and are being provided support by victim services.

MCU-N has taken charge of the ongoing investigation into Boire’s death. RCMP are still looking for information from anyone who may have been in contact with him leading up to the structure fire that took place 30 minutes north of North Battleford on January 19.
