Battlefords RCMP asking for public’s assistance in locating wanted woman

Battlefords RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a woman with an arrest warrant.

According to police Charmaine Brett Bear, 32, from Battleford currently has a warrant for her arrest for allegedly failing to provide the necessaries of life and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

She is described as about 5-6 tall and around 123 pounds, with a slender build. Bear has long black hair and brown eyes. She is also known to go by the name Charmaine Spyglass.

Bear is believed to be driving a grey four-door 2018 Kia Optima, with Saskatchewan licence plate 796 LRM. She is known to frequent the Battlefords area, Mosquito First Nation and Saskatoon.

RCMP report Bear is actively evading police. Police say they have been in contact with Bear’s family, and attempted to locate her at known addresses but have not been successful.

Police are asking anyone with information that could assist them in locating Charmaine Brett Bear to contact the Battlefords RCMP at 306-446-1720, or their local police service. They can also submit information anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
