Crews respond to house fire in North Battleford

The City of North Battleford Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Dec. 18, on the 1400 block of 1010 Street.
Fire crews quickly found signs of a working structure fire and black smoke upon arriving at the scene. The first crew managed to contain the fire to the upper floor following a successful entry. Due to many voids in the roof area of the home, extensive work was required to fully extinguish the flames.
The department was able to account for all of the occupants. At this time the nature of the fire is believed to be human-caused.
