One of accused in Laverdiere homicide investigation seeks bail

One of the accused individuals facing a charge connected to the Tiki Laverdiere homicide investigation is seeking to be released on bail.

Samuel Takakenew, 36, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

His case in North Battleford Provincial Court has been adjourned to Jan. 15, 2021.

Takakenew, who is in custody, must continue to comply with a no contact order for a list of several individuals that is protected by a publication ban in place.
