COVID-19 case at John Paul II Collegiate

Light of Christ School Division (LCSD) is reporting a case of COVID-19 at John Paul II Collegiate High School in North Battleford.
According to the statement from LCSD, Saskatchewan Health Authority officials informed them of a positive case in an individual at John Paul II earlier today. The division is now working with Public Health to inform parents and caregivers, and the SHA is conducting contact tracing.
LCSD is also reminding students and families to be diligent in performing the daily health screening, stay home if ill, follow precautionary measures and call HealthLine 811 if you are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. Information on the Government of Saskatchewan’s Safe School Plan can be found online.
To protect the privacy of this individual, LCSD is not sharing or discussing any further details. As of November 20, there are 5,804 positive cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, along with 3,626 recoveries and 33 deaths. The North West region has had 413 cases.
