Maidstone RCMP report multiple thefts on rural properties

Maidstone RCMP is advising all residents to ensure their vehicles are locked and the keys are removed, following a series of property crimes near Lashburn and Marshall.

Overnight between Friday and Saturday, at least four rural properties were the target of property crime. At least two currently unknown suspects were actively involved in thefts and trespassing. All four incidents are believed to be related at this time.

A grey 2012 Ford F150 and three dirk bikes, as well as numerous tools have been stolen so far. Maidstone RCMP is especially advising those living on rural properties in the R.M.’s of Wilton and Britannia to ensure their vehicles are secured.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity, individuals or vehicles in the area or has any information relevant to these incidents are asked to call Maidstone RCMP, 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
