Police have arrested three individuals on multiple charges following a two-month investigation.

To target drug activity in the area, the RCMP Crime Reduction Team (CRT) in North Battleford executed three search warrants at a residence, vehicle and hotel room.

CRT’s assist RCMP detachments across the province in capturing prolific offenders, repeat offenders and gang members.

Over the course of its investigation, the North Battleford CRT was assisted by the Saskatchewan RCMP Gang Task Force in the city, and local RCMP.

The Sept. 20 search led to the seizure of one ounce of cocaine, methamphetamine and hydromorphone, along with several prohibited weapons.

Kyle Caron, 40, Dean Lafreniere, 48, and Amanda Wahobin, 31, all face charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine and hydromorphone and multiple weapons’ offences. At the time of arrest, Wahobin was wanted on warrants for property offences, crystal meth possession and failure to appear in court.

All three individuals were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on November 9.
