Municipal nominations open in North Battleford

Nominations for municipal government are now open to the public in the Battlefords.
North Battleford city hall has set up its election information board, which will have candidates’ names added after the nominations are made. Nomination papers and public disclosure statements are in the binder on the table.
The list of candidates is also available on the city’s website, with profiles linked to their names, when provided. Residents are asked to visit the site or city hall to keep up to date with the list, as notifications for new candidates will not be sent out.
As of September 22, Mayor Ryan Bater and Councillor Kent Lindgren have announced they are running for re-election in their respective roles, while Matthew Parker is the only new individual to announce an intention to run for council so far.
