Turtleford RCMP are investigating multiple thefts of trucks in the region, south of Turtleford and north of the Battlefords.

All three incidents were reported to police on Friday, September 11. Two were from the R.M. of Mervin (one from a land location, the other a residence) while the other was from a residence in Vawn, Saskatchewan.

The land location vehicle is described as a white 1999 Ford Heavy Vehicle. There were two black slip tanks in the bed of the truck that contained diesel, along with multiple tool boxes. The Saskatchewan licence plate number is 124 HRD.

The other vehicle from the R.M. of Mervin is a brown 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, with the plate number of 931 GRN. This truck is believed to be involved in a hit and run later on Friday afternoon at an establishment in Paradise Hill and may have visible damage.

The stolen vehicle from Vawn is a red 2014 Ford F150, with black rims and 347 HUG as the plate number.

At this time, Turtleford RCMP cannot confirm that these thefts are linked, but they are continuing to investigate. As that process continues, police are asking for anyone with information pertinent to these incidents to contact 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
