Maidstone RCMP are investigating a robbery in Lashburn that resulted in several thousand dollars in stolen property, as well as entrance damage to a local gas station.

Police responded to a break and enter to the Esso Gas Station on Monday, where four individuals (three males, one female) and two pickup trucks (a White Ford F350 dually and a dark coloured Ford F150) were involved in the incident. The suspects gained entry by backing the White Ford F350 into the front doors, causing significant damage. They then stole more than $5,000 worth of cigarettes, as well as a safe box containing money, before leaving the scene. The White Ford was later found burnt at a nearby lease site.

Anyone with information related to this incident are asked to please call 310-RCMP for immediate response, or Crime Stoppers. The investigation is ongoing.
