Health sciences association, SAHO ratify deal
The Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan (HSAS) and the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations have ratified a new six-year contract.
The new collective bargaining agreement is retroactive to April 1, 2018 and runs until March 31, 2024.
Employees didn’t get wage increases in either of the first two years of the deal, but then get salary bumps of one, two, two and two per cent over the final four years.
According to a statement on the HSAS website, 84 per cent of members who returned ballots voted in favour of ratification.
