Residents in the town site of Mosquito First Nation are being asked by Battlefords RCMP to avoid the area of a large police presence.
RCMP are on scene at a residence on the town site in response to a report of an adult male allegedly uttering threats. At this time, police believe the male is in possession of a firearm.
Residents can expect to see a heavy police presence in the area for an undetermined amount of time. An update will be provided once more information is available.
