Golf competition continued in Saskatchewan this week, with the 101st Senior Men’s, Women’s and Mid-Masters Championships in Yorkton.
Chris Reid from Meadow Lake finished tied second in the Mid-Masters field, shooting five over for the week. Reid has his best showing during round two, where he shot two under.
Other local results include Jo-Anne Schiller of Lloydminster finishing second in the Senior Women’s tournament and Cliff Selander of Prince Albert placing second on the Senior Men’s side.
There is no national championship this year for the Saskatchewan qualifiers in each eligible category, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
