A man charged in connection to the homicide investigation of Todd Levi Stone had his bail hearing adjourned to August 13 in North Battleford provincial court.

Michael Jordan White appeared in court Thursday, on one count of second degree murder related to the May 12 incident, and three separate counts of failure to appear. The appearance was brief and he is now remanded to the August court date with a no-contact order covering other individuals also in effect for the murder charge. White indicated he is retaining private counsel from Alberta.

The next court appearance is a show cause hearing, but only in relation to his failure-to-appear counts.

Following the passing of Stone on May 13, police learned of an altercation between him and White and began an investigation through Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes. White was arrested without incident on July 8 in Alberta by Strathcona County RCMP without incident.
