Chamber of Commerce to fill position following second vice-chair’s retirement

The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce will have a position to fill after Vivian Whitecalf announced her retirement.

Whitecalf was the Battlefords Area Tribal Chiefs (BATC) representative on the board as well as the second vice-chair.

In a recent chamber meeting the board accepted Whitecalf’s resignation

The BATC have asked to appoint Alexis Christensen as their representative on the board to fill the spot left by Vivian.

The new appointee will not be immediately granted Whitecalf’s position as the second vice-chair and the council will need to vote on that position.
