JA Digital Campus Launches in Saskatchewan
Students across Saskatchewan will have access to financial literacy courses through a digital campus.
Now until June 30, and starting again in September, Junior Achievement (JA) in Saskatchewan and Innovation Credit Union are offering programs online to educate and inspire youth to explore business and the role money plays in everyday life. This will target students from Grade 3 through 10 in the upcoming school year. Course material will also focus on identifying career options, building budgets and making informed decisions.
“Innovation’s support will allow every student from across Saskatchewan online access to a wide variety of free programs around financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workplace readiness,” JA General Manager Katherine Gagne said in a release.
The launch of the digital campus was sped up in part to help Canadians of all age groups deal with the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
