Feds say two Saskatoon flights carried COVID-19-positive passengers

Jun 8, 2020 | 11:51 AM

Two recent flights into Saskatoon have been added to the Government of Canada’s list of flights that carried people who have since tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the government’s website, a passenger on Air Canada 1129 from Toronto to Saskatoon on May 29 has since tested positive. It’s not known which rows on the airplane might have been affected.

As well, at least one passenger on WestJet 3370 travelling from Calgary to Saskatoon on May 30 has tested positive. The affected area includes Rows 4 to 10.

People who think they may have been exposed to the virus on those flights are encouraged to use the agency’s self-assessment tool to determine their next course of action.
