Police ask for public’s help to locate wanted man

Onion Lake RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted on a number of warrants.

Nathan Vernon Waskewitch, 33, is 5’11”, weighs 200 lbs and has a medium build. He has short black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his right hand – Crown King, right index finger – Dark, and right forearm – Sleeve.

RCMP report Waskewitch has been actively evading police since May 13.

Waskewitch has multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest on charges including flight from police, possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and fail to comply with a probation order.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to contact Onion Lake RCMP at 306-344-5550, their local police detachment or submit a tip anonymously at Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
