Possible COVID-19 transmission in North Battleford

May 31, 2020 | 10:11 AM

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is reporting that on May 21, a person who tested positive for COVID-19 visited the Walmart in North Battleford while they were likely infectious and could have spread the virus.

The SHA and Indigenous Services Canada are asking North Battleford residents who visited the store that day between 12-2 p.m. to “immediately self-isolate if they have had symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing.”

All other customers should self-monitor each day for symptoms of COVID-19. Those include fever, chills, cough, headache, aches and pains, sore throat, runny nose, loss of sense of taste or smell, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing.
