Five-year-old girl recovering in hospital after attempted murder in P.A.
The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) has provided an update on five-year-old Kendrah who was taken to hospital after receiving life threatening injuries during a tragic triple homicide that claimed the lives of her older brother and grandparents.
On March 29, the police responded to 315 MacArthur Drive after family checked on the families well being. The police found Kendrah’s older brother Bentlee, seven, and her grandparents Denis Carrier and Sandra Henry, both 56, deceased at the property.
According to a media release, the young girl is now recovering in a hospital in Saskatoon. She spent multiple weeks in Edmonton and has gone through eight surgeries in recent weeks. The update was issued by PAPS at the request of the girl’s family.
“She’s done so well,” Kendrah’s mother Heather said in the release. “The whole family is excited for her to come home. We are amazed at how strong and determined she is.”
