COVID-19 case reported at Meadow Lake Co-op hardware store
In a letter issued to customers on May 2, Meadow Lake Co-op Service Centre hardware store reported one employee had tested positive for COVID-19.
General manager Caralee Strome told meadowlakeNOW she was notified late Saturday evening and issued the statement at approximately 9 p.m.
“We plan to re-open this location on Tuesday after deep cleaning and ensuring that all employees who came into contact with their colleague are self-isolating,” the statement read. Strome later added that the opening date is tentative.
Strome said approximately seven employees work in the hardware section on any given shift, though was not entirely sure.
