Apr 24, 2020 | 6:07 PM

From April 17 to Thursday inclusive, Saskatchewan RCMP had 78 calls for service related to COVID-19 and laid one charge.

RCMP received 43 complaints of social gatherings of more than 10 people, eight complaints of people failing to self-isolate when allegedly required to do so, and 27 other COVID-19-related complaints.

In a release Friday, the RCMP said it wanted to remind everyone that the public health order is still in place and it is working closely with the Saskatchewan Health Authority to investigate any potential violations.

Since March 1, the Saskatchewan RCMP has had nearly 1,000 calls for service regarding COVID-19.
