RCMP make cocaine seizure near Maidstone

The Saskatchewan RCMP Roving Traffic Unit made a cocaine seizure and arrest following a registration check on a vehicle near Maidstone.

On April 16, 2020, at approximately 3 p.m. the Roving Traffic Unit stopped a vehicle for a registration check.

During the stop, the officer made several observations which resulted in the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle being arrested under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

The RCMP searched the vehicle which resulted in the seizure of 1,105 grams of cocaine.

Darin Math, a 33-year-old man from Edmonton, Alberta, was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
