CJNB to broadcast Easter service Sunday morning

Members of religious communities will have some options to participate in Easter celebrations despite COVID-19.
The Battlefords Ministerial Association is providing CJNB with content to broadcast a Sunday service for Easter Sunday. CJNB Program and Promotions Director Nic Fransoo said it’s an avenue for those in the faith community looking for a way to maintain some form of normalcy during the pandemic.
“Not all people have the opportunity to access the internet at this time,” he said. “This gives another option for people to just tune in, listen and celebrate together in their faith.”
The service will have reflections from local faith leaders on what Easter is, with supplementary features rounded out for all Christian faiths in the region.
