(Courtesy: Onion Lake Cree Nation)In a statement on Facebook Thursday afternoon, OLCN said a medical health officer confirmed the positive case and that steps were being taken to ensure containment is strictly followed. This came shortly after the news that Lloydminster had it’s first positive case of COVID-19 on March 30th. OLCN is applying with the SHA to become a temporary drive thru testing site.
In an emailed response to meadowlakeNOW, SHA spokesperson Doug Dahl said the Health Authority would not provide any information on an individual patient. Calls to the Cree Nation and SHA were not returned.
