Silvernagle reveals new look team for 2020

Mar 17, 2020 | 3:41 PM

There will be a new look to Team Silvernagle when the North Battleford-based rink returns to action in the near future.

Coming off a second-consecutive appearance at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts last month in Moose Jaw, Robyn Silvernagle announced her new team members this week.

Joining Silvernagle and Jessie Hunkin, who also remains with the team, will be Kristen Streifel and Dayna Demers.

Streifel and Demers played together as skip (Streifel) and lead (Demers) on Team Streifel last season.

The pair will replace Stefanie Lawton, who has stepped aside for family reasons, and Kara Thevenot, who is exploring other curling opportunities.

In addition to the personnel change on the ice, the team also announced that coach, Lesley McEwan will return next season.
