Protestors walk through North Battleford in support of Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs
As demonstrations in solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en Nation hereditary chiefs are taking place across Canada, local organizers have rallied together for a walk through downtown North Battleford to show their support.
The Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs are protesting the Coastal GasLink pipeline project that runs through their land in northern British Columbia.
Starting at 1 p.m. this afternoon, protestors met at JD’s Skate Shop at 1572 100th Street and walked North to the parking lot across from the local MP constituency office.
