Feb 4, 2020 | 12:40 PM

Unity RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating three men who broke into a local Macklin business last week and attempted to steal from the ATM inside.

The incident occurred on Jan. 27, at approximately 4:59 p.m. when three masked men entered the business, forcing their way through the front door.

Once inside, the subjects attempted to break into the ATM using a variety of tools they brought with them, but were unable to break into the ATM or steal the contents inside. No money was gained by the men, who then fled the scene.

Unity RCMP are asking that anyone with information about this offence or the identity of the suspects please contact the Unity RCMP, or call Crime Stoppers. (submitted photo/Unity RCMP)

The vehicle involved in the crime was a newer white Dodge 2500 or 3500 crew cab that may contain a slip tank in the back. Although the vehicle was seen heading North, it is believed the vehicle fled South of Macklin following the failed theft attempt.

The Unity RCMP are asking anyone with information about this offence or the identity of the suspects to please contact the Unity RCMP at (306) 228-6300 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). A tip can also be submitted online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
