MP Falk visiting communities in riding to meet with constituents, hear concerns

Battlefords-Lloydminster MP Rosemarie Falk is currently visiting residents throughout the riding to hear their concerns.

She will be able to meet with individuals by appointment only, as part of the MP’s Mobile Constituency Office Tour.

People need to contact Falk’s office in Lloydminster if they wish to book a time.

The Mobile Constituency Office visits started Jan. 6.

“Because we are such a big riding, one of the barriers people have is getting to a [constituency] office,” she said. “Having the opportunity and the ability to go into some communities it’s kind of breaking down that barrier. Hopefully, the goal is to help as many people as we can.”

Falk said she hopes to be able to assist people to navigate government departments easier, whether they are looking to access benefits for which they qualify, have questions for the Canada Revenue Agency, or are working through an immigration process matter, as an example.

If residents have concerns about any issues she will also keep that in mind in case that could help in future decision-making.

“When the time arises I can talk to caucus members about that or even members from other parties,” the MP said.

Falk’s visit to North Battleford will be held at the North Battleford Library.

She is available for meetings in North Battleford Jan. 20, Feb. 3, 24, March 2, 16, and 30; in St. Walburg Feb. 13, and in Unity on March 19.

If Falk is scheduled to attend to parliamentary business in Ottawa on any of the Mobile Constituency Office dates, her staff will be able to assist residents.

“Any time anyone wants to have a conversation with me, always call my office,” Falk said. “If I can’t get there personally to have a face-to-face meeting with you, I will try my hardest to communicate via phone.”
