RCMP investigate break and enter, discharge of firearm

Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter at a residence on Dunning Crescent in North Battleford Friday night at 9:10 p.m.

According to a media release from Saskatchewan RCMP, the suspects fired a small calibre gun inside of the home but no one was injured during the incident.

Two suspects fled the scene on foot and were tracked to an area two blocks away, but the police were not able to find them.

The investigation is ongoing by Battlefords Municipal GIS. Also, the Battlefords Forensic Identification Section have inspected the scene and will continue their investigation after recovering items from the two individuals.
