Drug bust lands two men in custody

Cocaine and marijuana were found inside a vehicle Friday near Maidstone.

The vehicle was initially pulled by police for speeding and for an equipment violation.

In total, 143 grams of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine was seized, as well as a minor amount of cannabis.

Besmellah Bakhshi, 26, of Edmonton, and Miguel Pineda, 25, from Regina, face drug trafficking charges. Both men were scheduled to appear in court Monday in Lloydminster.
