Man facing charges in alleged armed robberies in North Battleford
A 25-year-old man is facing charges in two alleged business robberies in North Battleford.
Battlefords RCMP reported at about 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 15 a lone male armed with a weapon threatened staff and demanded cash at a business on the 1700 block of 100 Street. The male then ran off with a small amount of cash and merchandise. RCMP received several tips from the public but was unable to make any arrests or identify the suspect.
In a separate incident, at about 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 20 a lone male armed with a knife threatened staff and demanded cash at the same business. The male then ran off with a small amount of cash and merchandise.
Through the investigation, RCMP were able to determine the same suspect appeared to be responsible for both robberies and was identified.
