Council approves holiday schedule for city facilities open to the public

Anyone who is planning to access the City of North Battleford’s facilities over the holidays will want to keep in mind the early closing times.

Council approved the holiday hours at its meeting Tuesday.

In addition to city hall, the facilities affected are the Battlefords Co-op Aquatic Centre, NationsWEST Field House, the Chapel Gallery, the Allen Sapp Gallery, the Civic Centre Arena, the Don Ross Arena, the Central Booking Office, and the Waste Management Facility.

The facilities will close at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve Dec. 24 and New Year’s Eve Dec. 31.

They will be closed all day on Christmas Dec. 25, Boxing Day Dec. 26 and New Year’s Day Jan 1.
