BMF Bucks begin quest for third-straight championship
There may be eight teams in the Kinsmen Football League (KFL) pee wee ranks, but only one has claimed the league championship each of the last two years.
The Battlefords Minor Football (BMF) Bucks will begin their quest for a third-straight league title Sunday, Oct. 27, as the team will kick off their post-season against the Martensville Maddogs in Saskatoon.
Expectations are high once again this year for the Bucks, after the program made noise wrapping up another successful season a perfect 7-0. Over the last two years, the Bucks have lost just a single game.
Despite the wealth of success, head coach, Paul Fransoo said the team isn’t celebrating anything yet. With a win Sunday, the Bucks can again punch their ticket to the KFL Final, for an opportunity at a championship three-peat.
