RCMP negotiating with barricaded man at Big Island Lake Cree Nation

The Pierceland RCMP are currently negotiating with a male on the Big Island Lake Cree Nation who has barricaded himself inside.
RCMP ask that the public avoid house 111 on the Big Island Lake Cree Nation as a man is threatening to hurt himself and the police.
The man is known to be dangerous and RCMP have requested all residents to listen to directions from officers on scene as the situation could last several hours.
RCMP say they are working to resolve the situation without anyone getting hurt.
