Saskatchewan RCMP are on the lookout for a man charged with manslaughter in the death of a Big Island Lake Cree Territory man.

Jonathan Dufraine, 38, is wanted in relation to the death of Zane Kiseyinewakup.

Dufraine has an outstanding warrant for his arrest. If he is seen, police say the public should not approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous.

His last confirmed sighting was on the Big Island Lake Cree Territory on Oct. 2, the day of Kiseyinewakup’s death.

He is 5’6″ tall, weighs 130 pounds and was last seen wearing grey jogging pants, a black sweater, a red ball cap with a black brim, black shoes and a red bandana tied around his neck. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

Dufraine was last seen travelling in a grey 1996 Chevrolet Lumina sedan with Saskatchewan licence plate 077 LPV. The vehicle has not been located and it is unknown if Dufraine switched vehicles.

The suspect is known to frequently visit the Big Island Cree Lake Territory, Loon Lake, Makwa Sahgaiecan First Nation and Ministikwan First Nation.

Saskatchewan’s Major Crimes Unit is overseeing the investigation in conjunction with the Pierceland and North Battleford RCMP.

All officers across Saskatchewan are on the lookout for Dufraine.

If you know any information on his whereabouts, you are urged to contact the nearest RCMP detachment. Information can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
