Co-accused in Jonson homicide remanded until late September

Nicolas Buck will remain in custody as his lawyer awaits further information in his case.

The 22-year-old is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Mark Douglas Jonson.

Jonson was found dead in a home on 15 Ave. and 100 St. on July 5.

Buck made a brief showing in North Battleford Provincial Court via closed-circuit television and had his matter adjourned until Sept. 27.

David Keller is also charged with first-degree murder in Jonson’s death. He is awaiting the completion of a bail supervision report and is due back in provincial court on Sept. 5.

Buck was located the morning of July 13 after officers issued a warrant for his arrest. Keller was arrested on July 11.
